President and Founder
Ethan Seong Jae Yoo
Ethan Yoo is the president and founder of the Korean Art History Association. He is an editor, photographer, and an animal activist. Yoo also founded various foundations such as the H&J Foundation and the Eco Clam Foundation, advocating for animal rights and a cleaner ocean. He believes in working hard to preserve our precious and fragile environment. He actively takes part in the National Honor Society and has one of the highest volunteer hours in the chapter. Yoo also is a part of the Student Ambassador program at St. Johnsbury Academy Jeju. He not only represents the school but also helps new students adjust to secondary school life.
Co-Vice President
Kyueun Kim
Kyueun Kim is the vice-president of the Korean Art History Association. She is interested in history, especially the history of art and the renaissance. The relationship between the Black Death and its historical, ethical impact that led to the renaissance made her more interested in history. Japanese art and architecture is also in her interest. Its wide range of styles, especially the ukiyo-e to the minimalistic elegance of Zen-inspired ink painting.
Co-Vice President
Dane Kim
Dane Kim is the co-vice president of the Korean Art History Association. She is interested in Vincent van Gogh because she is captivated by his use of vibrant colors and expressive brushwork, which brings his paintings to life. His unique and emotive style resonates deeply with her, inspiring a profound connection to his art. Not only art, she is a musical person. She can play 5 musical instruments including piano, drum, flute, violin, and guitar. She is not only interested in art, she wants to explore the environment as art. To achieve her goal, she keeps trying to express environmental issues as art performance and art work.
